Women's Ministry
The women of UCPC are an active, vibrant and diverse group of ladies who share fellowship together, pray together, work together and laugh together. We are an active group made up of retirees up into our 90s, working moms, and single women who deeply care for one another, finding joy together in the good times and supporting each other in hard times.
Monday Morning Book Study:
Every other Monday afternoon at 1:00 PM, a group of women meet in UCPC's narthex to share fellowship and learn about who God is in our lives. We study a variety of different resources from current to classic Christian books to the Presbyterian Horizons Bible Studies. Come journey with us as we explore God's Holy mysteries together.
Thursday at Noon Ladies Prayer Group:
This is a seasoned group of prayer warriors who come together, trusting in the Lord to hear our prayers.
Women's Retreat:
Once a year the UCPC ladies spend the weekend out at the Knox Retreat center at Bingle Camp to recharge physically, engage spiritually, and grow faithfully in Christ. The retreats are led by strong leaders from across the country who each bring their own fresh perspectives to women's ministry. This is the one weekend where the Holy Spirit fuels our women's ministry for the entire year; it is the highlight of the year.
